Survey: Two-Thirds of Evangelicals Doubt Jesus' Words Regarding Salvation Thru Him Alone

There's a new poll out which points to a growing rejection among Evangelicals that Jesus is the only way of salvation. For years, most evangelical Christians have been taught and accepted the words of Jesus in John 14:6, where He states, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man cometh unto the Father but my Me." But now a new Newsweek/Beliefnet poll is showing a shocking number of people who call themselves evangelical and born-again have come to reject those words.The question in the poll read: "Can a good person who isn't of your religious faith go to heaven or attain salvation, or not?" According to the poll results of more than 1,000 adults 18 years of age and older, 68 percent of evangelical Christians believe "good" people of other faiths can also go to heaven. Nationally, 79 percent of those surveyed said the same thing, with an "astounding" 91 percent agreement among Catholics, notes Beliefnet. Beliefnet spokesman Steven Waldman calls the results "pretty amazing." Being a good person will not give you Salvation.

Without believing in Jesus Christ and accepting him as their Lord and Savior they will not enter into God's Holy Heaven.

Episcopal Church Turns To Idol Worship

A conservative Anglican activist is criticizing the response of the Episcopal Church USA (ECUSA) to revelations that two of its priests embrace the worship of pagan deities. Some members of the Worldwide Anglican Communion say they are not the least bit surprised by the latest heresy to surface in the American Episcopal Church -- a pagan liturgical rite promoted on the denomination's website. The ECUSA's Office of Women's Ministries recently touted a resource called the "Women's Eucharist: A Celebration of the Divine Feminine," which encourages worship of a so-called "Queen of Heaven."

U.S. Congregations Largely Ignore The Bible's Teaching About Discipline

The next meeting of the United Methodist Church's highest tribunal will review an unusual dispute about discipline. It involves whether the Rev. Edward Johnson should have been put on forced unpaid leave because he refused a homosexual who wanted to join his congregation in South Hill, Va. The evangelical Good News caucus says the gay applicant is living in a relationship with another man and "unrepentant about his practice" so Johnson was merely applying Methodism's teaching against same-sex behavior. But Virginia's Methodist clergy decided Johnson violated church policy, both in rejecting a homosexual and in defying directives to accept him that came from the bishop and district superintendent. The case attracts attention because it's rare nowadays for a pastor to attempt to bar or discipline a lay member. U.S. congregations largely ignore the Bible's teaching about discipline and the result is "the impending collapse of authentic Christianity in this generation," asserted the Rev. R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

MY statement on this matter...................If it goes against God's law or commandment we should do as God wants not man, no matter what the cost.

They have not been putting them into people as a rule. They don't need batteries. They have a little coil, and a pre-programmed number, all encapsulated in glass. This can be inserted under your skin with a special hypodermic needle. It won't get infected, and you would hardly know it is there. But scanning devices will know it's there. It could be used to tie into your bank accounts, or whatever they want to do with it. In the future, they could perfect this so that it can actually be your smart card.

- They claim these provide such an enormous bandwidth in which to fit information that a single chip measuring little more than a millionth of an inch could handle all a major company's telephone, computer, television and satellite traffic. The Lord Jesus Christ

I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. I believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.

Salvation

I believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin. I believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.

The Holy Spirit

I believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.

The Sacred Scripture

I believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God's will for mankind. I believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.

Stewardship

I believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. I believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.

The Church

I believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement. I believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism and edification.

Prayer and Praise

I believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. I believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his needs.

Body Ministry

I believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church.

Evangelism

I believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the Earth. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.

Water Baptism

I believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ and to experience what the Bible calls the "circumcision of the Spirit."

Our Commitment to Israel

I believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. I believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful.

The Priesthood of the Believer

I believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.

How To Be Saved

No one is good enough.

"There is no one righteous, not even one;" - Romans 3:10

You are a sinner.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

God loves us, even though we are sinners.

"But God demonstrates His Love for us, in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

The provision - God's Gift.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"For it is by the grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by worls, so that no one can boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

There must be repentance of sin (turning away from sin).

"Repent and believe the Good News!" - Mark 1:15

The required action - believe and confess.

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10

The result - Salvation.

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL BE SAVED." - Romans 10:13

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

What Is

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT FAITH?

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:1-3

The above verse states very plainly that faith is a reality, something that gives "substance" to things before they become visible to the natural eye. 2 Corinthians 5:7 declares that we walk by faith, not by sight. When we are "born again" we are given spiritual eyes to see things and understand things that otherwise we could not discern without the Holy Spirit. When we are submitted to the Lord, He then begins to guide and lead us by His Spirit; we follow Him in faith knowing He will not disappoint us or lead us astray. We must learn to obey Him even when we do not see or understand how He is leading.

The Word of God states that "whatsoever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). Some people refer to the expression "blind faith," but our faith is not a blind faith; it is faith in a very real person, Jesus Christ. We were blind before our eyes were opened to His love and forgiveness, but now we see Him and a new life and world belong to us.

Romans 12:3 says, "God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." We are then to allow the Holy Spirit to move in our lives so that our faith might grow in Him. For faith to grow and for God to honor our faith there are several principles we must follow in the Word of God since faith alone cannot produce our prayer answers.

Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." We must know the Word of God for our faith to increase. Many times, we take only a portion of His Word and quote it and expect answers, when we must learn other portions that work along with the portion we are quoting. An example would be if we do pray a prayer of faith, yet do not obey God, our faith would be in vain.

Let's look at Hebrews 11:4 for an example of this: "By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of His gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh." Why was God pleased with Abel and not with Cain? Cain's heart was not right before God, thus his works were evil therefore his offering was rejected. "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous" (I John 3:12). Today, many people are doing the same thing, yet expecting God to honor their faith.

God wants you and me to be faith men and women, so that we can have good success in all that we do. Joshua 1:8 says, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

Hebrews 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." We can see by this verse that we cannot please God unless we walk by faith. The dictionary defines faith as (1) unquestioning belief, especially in God (2) complete trust or confidence (3) loyalty.

In looking at these definitions, we can take a test and see if we really are trusting God with our lives. Test question number one: Do we rebelliously question what God is doing in our lives? Do we ask God such questions as, "Lord, when are you going to do this thing in my life? How much longer am I going to have to wait for my answer? Why haven't you answered my prayers, God?" All of these questions, if posed rebelliously, are just the opposite of faith as they gender doubt and are questioning what God is doing in our lives. Also, we are referring to people in this test who have made a total commitment to God and are trying to walk in His will. If we have not surrendered to God, there are things that happen to us that are not His fault because we are in the devil's territory. The Lord does not mind us asking any question as long as we are asking it with a submissive attitude and not questioning His goodness.

Test question number two: Do we completely trust God and have our confidence in Him to the degree that when we don't see our answer right away, we wait patiently instead of taking the matter into our own hands and doing it our own way? Do we have confidence in the Lord that He has everything under control, or do we worry and fret and let anxiety rob us of our day? If we trusted Him, we would believe His Word and not doubt His promises.

Test question number three: What about loyalty? Are we loyal to Him? We act sometimes as if God were against us instead of for us. For instance, when we have prayed and asked God for an answer to our prayers but have not received that answer yet, do we begin listening to the devil as he whispers these words to us, "God hasn't answered your prayers; He doesn't really care for you. You know God has all power in heaven and earth so why doesn't He answer your prayers?" Instead of our being loyal and defending the Father, we end up many times agreeing with the devil by turning to God and saying, "Yes, God, why haven't You answered my prayers?" Our devotion to the Lord should be one of defending the heavenly Father with a statement to the enemy like this, "Satan, I don't know why God hasn't answered my prayers yet, but I do know one thing; He loves me and my answers are on the way. If anybody is hindering my answers, it's you, not my precious Father."

Real faith has all the above qualities of total confidence in God, and complete trust and unquestioning loyalty. Do we really have faith in God? In discussing faith we need to point out that it is not the quantity of faith that will accomplish the overcoming in our lives, but rather the quality. "...for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you" (Matthew 17:20). It is not the amount of faith we have but who our faith is centered in. Jesus is faith.

If we feel we do not have sufficient faith to remove our "mountain of difficulty," we can always ask the Lord for the "gift of faith." This gift is one of the provisions for those who are baptized with the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 12:9). The Lord did not leave us without the tools to overcome our lack of faith. We can simply ask God to give us the gift of faith we need for whatever problem we might have. As we are faithful to exercise our "measure of faith" that has been given to each of us, our faith will grow. Then we can believe God for greater things even without the gift of faith. However, if we need the gift, we can ask and the Lord will supply if our hearts are right.

Faith is not only a gift, but also a fruit of the Holy Spirit plus a part of our Christian armour; so we see the importance of it in our Christian walk (Galatians 5:22). May we be spoken of as were the Christians at Thessalonica, "We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure" (II Thessalonians 1:3-4). Faith will carry us through every trial and tribulation. Faith is really not that difficult. God made it easy. In essence, faith is just taking one more step with Jesus; it's believing God for one more hour, and because we do not give up on God, He comes through with our answers when we trust Him.

Linking Humans to Computers for Surveillance and Control

Implantable Microchips

If a microchip with a miniature digital transceiver is implanted into a person, he can be followed around the earth everywhere he goes via satellites, ground sensors and computer networks. This fact alone should be enough for us to prevent any device or electronic tattoo being put on us and on our family. With the advancement of computer technology, computers are getting as small as a dot, and they can be embedded in very small objects.

As most people have no idea what's going on, and those who do are usually the "bad guys", do not believe anyone who tells you these devices are harmless.

The main goal is not the tracking of animals, but the identification, surveillance and control of human beings. This is of course hidden from us, lest we wake up:

Even as I wrote Mega Forces, I was becoming aware of super-secret experiments by government and corporate laboratories in which human subjects—usually unwilling and unsuspecting guinea pigs—were having computer chips and transmitting devices implanted into their cerebral hemispheres (e.g. their brains), auditory (ear) organs, and elsewhere in their bodies. Different excuses are found to slowly force microchips on us. Here are a few examples.

Millions may be carrying microchips in their bodies worldwide. The Safe Medical Devices Act, which became a law in 1990, requires USA manufacturers of implants and medical devices, to adopt a method for identifying and tracking their products permanently implanted in humans, and to keep track of the recipients, in case malfunctions arise. Breast implants, pacemakers, replacement heart valves and prosthetic devices implanted in millions worldwide are all to be tracked. And one of the methods used to track these devices is implanting microchips which store data about the manufacturer, the surgeon, the date of implant, etc.

Bracelets containing microchips were given to more than 50,000 Cuban and Haitian refugees interned at a USA naval base to identify and track them. Small children had the wristband attached to their ankle. Some of the refugees tried to remove the bracelets. To prevent the removal, metal strips were embedded in the bands.

To monitor and get precise results in races, runners and swimmers are given transponders in a wristband, and bike racers have them mounted on their bikes.

It has been suggested to use the microchip as a universal identification device, replacing credit cards, passports. People would pay in shops by passing their hands with implanted microchips over store scanners which would automatically debit their bank accounts.

Digital Fallen Angels

U.S. Patent Number 5,629,678 was granted on May 13 (they chose a peculiar date!), 1997 , for a "personal tracking and recovery system". The device to achieve this would be an implantable microchip containing a miniature digital transceiver, powered electromechanically through the movement of the person's muscles. Applied Digital Solutions (ADS) has acquired the patent rights to this technology, which they call Digital Angel. According to ADS, this technology can be used for "widespread tracking, recovery and identification of people". The device sends and receives data and can be continuously tracked by Global Positioning Satellite technology. Many were shocked by this new step toward the mark of the beast and the name adopted by the company for their product, which is referred to by some as Digital Devil.

Mind Control

In the Nexus magazine article entitled "The Microchip and the Mark of the Beast", Dr. Carl Sanders tells about the project which lead to the invention of the microchip which may be the mark of the beast. Sanders became the leader of the project in 1968. They were told the microchip served medical purposes, but they found out later that the real reason for developing it was human identification. The microchip is recharged by body temperature changes. The scary thing is that it "can also be used for migraine headaches, behavior modification, upper/downer, sexual stimulant and sexual depressant", in other words for mind control. He is now concerned the chip will be misused, and he believes it "is going to be the positive identification and mark of the beast."

Direct man-computer communication is not fiction, it does exist. According to newspapers, the U.S. military is testing electronic devices placed on, or near a subject's head to detect his brain waves. Experiments were conducted on fighter jet pilots. When the pilot thinks about arming and firing an air-to-air missile, the device executes the task: it arms and fires the missile. Now what if this process becomes reversible, and the device tells the pilot what to do?

Microchips are under development which can tie into the brain's neuronetwork when implanted into the human brain. Through them the thoughts and actions of individuals can be controlled externally. Even researchers and government officials call this technology a "horrific", "Frankenstein-type weapon".

A "Crisis" in America

To help complacent Americans accept the new government intrusions, Clinton propagandists instilled fear of just about every crisis they could conjure up. The buzzword of the nineties was "crisis." We were told we had a health care "crisis" - justifying the government takeover of one-seventh of the U.S. economy. We were told we had a ecological "crisis" - justifying the government to impose far reaching new regulations on businesses. We were told we had a child care "crisis" - justifying the government to extend its reach into the family.

President Clinton used the strategic use of Executive Orders to bypass Congress and the will of the American people. In violation of the Constitutional balance of powers, Mr. Clinton said he would legislate by Executive Order if Congress did not bow to his legislative agenda. "I have a continuing obligation to act, to use the authority of the presidency and the persuasive power of the podium, to advance America´s interests...," said Mr. Clinton.

There was no debate, no media coverage, and no vote ... just President Clinton signing into law whatever he believed "is the right thing to do." "Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kinda cool," said Mr. Clinton´s senior advisor Paul Begala.

Failing to get this dictatorial mandate past Congress, liberals in the White House and Congress subverted the 10th Amendment by "greenmailing" the states into submission. The liberal strategy was to withhold tax revenues from the states, if states did not surrender constitutional rights and submit to legislative mandates voluntarily.

With the government takeover of much of the American economy, health care, and the family well under way, Socialists turned its attention next to a constitutional "crisis".

While the media and across America, attention was focused on butterfly-ballots and elderly voters who could not complete a ballot, beneath the surface was brewing yet another incremental attack on the Constitution of the United States of America by Socialists determined to quietly overthrow this country.

As has been their technique for years, Socialists understand that they will not be able to radically change this country over night. Rather, theirs is a step-by-step incremental approach of first undermining the foundations of this country by creating doubt and distrust by the TV-educated and uninformed American public.

In November, 2000, as politicians and lawyers descend upon Florida for hand recounts upon recounts, Americans were fed a daily dose of propaganda designed to sway them away from the Constitutionally established norm of electing Presidents in this country.

This attack on the Constitution did not come as a surprise. It was simply part and parcel of an ongoing and systematic dismantling of our Constitution. And, folks, Democrats and Republicans alike are not only being duped by the Socialist propaganda, but in many cases are championing it.

Shaking America's Foundations

With the son of the man who introduced the New World Order to America now in place, George W. Bush's mandate was to further his father's agenda of extending government control over American citizens and empowering the tentacles of a One World Government into foreign lands.

Recognizing that no Socialist movement can succeed unless it has control over the movement of it's citizens and insider intelligence of those who oppose them, Globalists along with President G.W. Bush, needed another "crisis" to move their agenda along.

That crisis came compliments of a group of extremist Muslims, perhaps even orchestrated by the CIA and/or FBI on Sept. 11, 2001.

What they have done is create a new globalist government initiative dubbed, "Homeland Security" and have renewed criminal government intrusion into the private lives of Americans once used by Richard Nixon in his war on anti-war protestors, environmentalists, and civil rights activists.

Following every contrived "crisis" in America, the response is always the same... to erode more liberties in exchange for the promise that it will never happen again. And the result is, it continues to happen again and again, only American citizens have LESS freedom.

We heard the same argument following the rash of hijackings during the '70s and following the crash of TWA 800 and bombing of Pan Am 103. The result was that four airplanes could be hijacked simultaneously and used to attack Americas financial center and our nations capital. We heard the argument following the bombing in Oklahoma City. The result was the total destruction of the World Trade Center.

Globalists everywhere can celebrate the attack on America because their goals are being accomplished. Their desire to instill fear into the hearts of Americans is accomplished as Americans fear flying and are willing to exchange their freedom for the false feeling of security. Their desire to destroy our free democratic system is accomplished as we allow the government to further intrude into our private lives in exchange for a false feeling of security.

Palm Beach-based Applied Digital Solutions unveiled the VeriChip immediately after the 9-11 tragedy. Similar to pet identification chips, the human VeriChip is a syringe-injectable radio frequency identification microchip that can be read from a few feet away by either a hand-held scanner or by the implantee walking through a "portal" scanner. Information can be wirelessly written to the chip, which contains a unique 10-digit identification number.

In the post 9-11 security environment, the idea of a syringe-injectable device gives the National ID card concept a whole new dimension. As predicted in Revelation 13:16-17, "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark of his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark..."

In the wake of the Globalist inspired attack on America, we keep hearing especially politicians saying "we must do what needs to be done so that it never happens again."

No, we don't need to ensure it never happens again... we need to get at the root of the problem and why we allowed it to happen at all. Americans should look inward and ask why our great country can support despots throughout the world in exchange for oil and wonder why the victims in those regions consider us the enemy.

While Americans were freely giving up many of their Constitutional rights in exchange for so-called "security" and now needing a scapegoat to ratioanlize their loss, President Bush moved to the next stage of the globalist agenda.

According to an article in the Sunday Herald, President Bush and his cabinet were planning a premeditated attack on Iraq to secure 'regime change' even before he took power in January 2001. The blueprint for the creation of a 'global Pax Americana' was drawn up for Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and others. The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defences: Strategies, Forces And Resources For A New Century, was written in September 2000 by the neo-conservative think-tank Project for the New American Century (PNAC).

The plan shows Bush's cabinet intended to take military control of the Gulf region whether or not Saddam Hussein was in power. It says: 'The United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security. While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein.'

Whipping up fear into Americans once again, President Bush and Tony Blair invaded Iraq under the guise of eliminating weapons of mass destruction. While NONE were found, both continued their charge that WMD existed with the fervor that would make Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf proud.

See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants-- it will be the same for priest as for people, for master as for servant, for mistress as for maid, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor. The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word.

The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the exalted of the earth languish. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant.

Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth's inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.

The new wine dries up and the vine withers; all the merrymakers groan. The gaiety of the tambourines is stilled, the noise of the revelers has stopped, the joyful harp is silent. No longer do they drink wine with a song; the beer is bitter to its drinkers.

The ruined city lies desolate; the entrance to every house is barred. In the streets they cry out for wine; all joy turns to gloom, all gaiety is banished from the earth. The city is left in ruins, its gate is battered to pieces. So will it be on the earth and among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.

They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they acclaim the Lord's majesty. Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing: "Glory to the Righteous One."

But I said, "I waste away, I waste away! Woe to me! The treacherous betray! With treachery the treacherous betray!" Terror and pit and snare await you, O people of the earth. Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare.

The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls--never to rise again.

In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below. They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days. The moon will be abashed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders, gloriously. [Isaiah 24:1-23]

The prophets Ezekiel, Joel, Haggai, and the writer of Hebrews all concur that God is going to literally shake the earth one more time! See Ezekiel 38:20-23; Joel 3:14-17; Haggai 2:6-9 and Hebrews 12:25-29. He will shake our economy, the stock market, Fortune 500 companies, banks, insurance companies, our education system, our government, our families, our churches - everything we put our trust and confidence in, everything that seems safe and secure.

As a matter of fact, it's when people are saying,

Peace and Safety

Right now in America, there is a false peace sweeping through churches - a peace that will fail in the troubled days ahead. It is the false peace of stubborn, sin-blinded Christians. Moses called such believers "self-blessed" - meaning, self-deceived. He warned Israel that a curse would come upon all wicked, disobedient children of God who walked in idolatry. He said they would plaster over their sinful ways with a false sense of peace:

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst. [Deuteronomy 29:19]

We have become desensitized to Satan's evil plans. Things that once appalled us now have become commonplace and we've heard so much evil that it doesn't bother us any more. Knowing his time is short he will pour out more of his filth, wickedness and testings beyond anything our minds can imagine. Those testings are now reaching critical mass and we seem to be ignoring it. It will become increasingly difficult for many to distinguish God's truth from Satan's lie as the church spirals into moral relativism.

We tolerate killing our unborn children and call it "freedom of choice."

We tolerate homosexuality and call it "diversity"

We tolerate paganism and call it "multiculturalism"

We tolerate killing of the elderly or sick and call it "compassion"

We tolerate religious segregation and call it "denominationalism"

The liberal humanist agenda is clear: to do away with God by denying the conscience He has given us. Virtue is ridiculed, evil is praised as good and liberating, and God-given moral standards are mocked as the narrow-minded thinking of a past generation.

Others have given up, believing that everyone and everything is so corrupt, there is nothing that can be done. As a result, they accept any activity that appears to improve their life.

We accept "affirmative action" as a solution to racism rather than dealing with the condition of the heart that brings about such an evil.

We accept "higher taxes" in order to bail out failed social policies rather than accepting our God given responsibilities to be "our brothers keeper."

We become increasingly indebted to credit card companies, banks, and others rather than accepting our personal responsibility to be "good stewards" of what God has given us.

We accept police intrusion into our homes, businesses and automobiles to rid us of guns and drugs.

We allow the government to regulate with impunity our businesses to give us a sense of security in our business dealings.

We accept censorship of the media so we're not offended, rather than turning our TV's off, throwing away our pornography, and not supporting those companies that sell us their filth.

When presented with alternatives, it's as if many don't even hear them. In fact, they probably don't want to hear them because it would call for them to change.
